since i can't hear the vocal intonation that produced this comment, for the sake of arguing, i'll pretend this is serious.
the following is from his website:
"Stem Cell Research:
'I'd met Chris Reeve several times before he died, and after having met him it is tough to be against [stem cell research]. I am for human knowledge and expansion of human life. If stem cells are one way to do that, I cannot support legislation to restrict this potentially life-saving research.'"

i know it may not be good to be a 'single issue' voter but how can a believer support someone that does not protect, at every stage, that which God made in His own image and knew 'in my mother's womb'? I agree that stem-cells are useful and a worthy research endeavor BUT fetal stem cells should never be used. aside from the ethics involved with killing(terminating) fetuses(babies), umbilical cord blood (better said, cells found in the plasma), and adult stem cells have too much potential.

i don't indend for this to come off harsh, just well though out and encouraging toward further conversation. :)
