Funny thing is, I actually teach it in a similar way in my class. Last week, I was talking about prostitutes named Boomqueesha'que'quwessah (Magnesium for short) and Johns in order to assist with writing ionic compound formulas. Said one kid, "Magnesium...she smashed the homie!"
