I made a big pot of beans last night. I figured I could eat some for lunches this week and freeze the rest. I tried out a new recipe. It has white beans and herbs with Italian-style turkey sausage. The only problem is, I don't like it very much. I mean, it's not bad...but it's not all that great either. So now I'm left with a dilemma. Do I force myself to eat the leftovers? Or do I throw out perfectly good food that just doesn't appeal to me?
What do you do in these situations?

call some boys who need food.
I have had the same dilemma several times as I've experimented with new recipes. A couple of months ago I found this recipe for a quinoa casserole that "sounded" very delicious... but actually was not. It was a TON of food but most of the ingredients were expensive, so I couldn't bring myself to just throw it away. I didn't make Troy eat anymore and ate it for lunch every day that week. By the end of the week I was literally having to force my hand to my mouth.
I agree with Mimi - call some hungry guys! At least then it all gets over with in one sitting. :-)
anything you could do to make it better? Add something to it or add it to something else? If not, I say throw it out. Otherwise you'll let it get freezer burned and throw it out a year from now! ;)
