My public has spoken

Thanks for all the comments, friends! I needed that little boost to help me decide where to take things on the QQ. I've decided to keep the blog going, but not be as concerned with blogging Monday-Friday. So you may only get two or three updates a week...but I'll try to make 'em good. :)

So in newsy news, I'm going to PARIS! My dear friend, Amy, and I decided to go on a fabulous girls' trip to Europe. The plan is to spend a week in Paris and then hop over to London for a few days.

I've never been to Paris...any recommendations from you Francophiles?

Definitely indulge in the crepes from street vendors. Nutella and banana...or strawberry...or chocolate...or...

Honestly didn't care for much of Paris when I was there. The highlights were (for me): Notre Dame Cathedral and a day trip out to the Palace de Versailles. A river cruise could do the trick! Eiffel Tower was underwhelming. The moral of the story is to go where the tourists aren't.

Go to the cemetery (yes, sounds morbid) Pere LaChaise. Jim Morrison's grave (if it's still there) was interesting to see, along with a ton of other famous authors and composers. If you can go out to Versailles to see the castle, it's amazing. The nightclubs are scary. I had to leave after paying $40. Be prepared for lots of cigarette smoke. And get a pass for the museums! You get to cut the lines! I loved the Museum D'orsay because I love impressionist painters.
SOOOO excited for you!!!

if you like museums i loved the rodin (the thinker among many others). it's in a house and garden as opposed to a large building. i second the crepes...nutella and strawberry is my fav, versailles is neat if the weather is nice, notre dame was neat and we got to hear a choir perform while we were there...just random during the day.

just enjoy it...and buy some shoes! :)
