Make it STOP!
So I was scrolling through the radio stations in my car on Wednesday evening when I stopped on Sunny to see if they were already playing Christmas music. Turns out they were. As luck would have it, the very first song I heard was The Christmas Shoes. My entire Christmas season may well be ruined now.

People should not make songs from email forwards.
First Christmas song, Mary Did You Know. Great song, but it is a song over sung. I wish it had been closer to Christmas when I heard it. But The Christmas Shoes beats that hands or feet down. At least I should be thankful my first Christmas song wasn't Happy Birthday Jesus.
I think that my first Christmas song was "Jingle Bell Rock" heard at WAL-MART somewhere around November 1st.
See - this is the advantage of starting your own Christmas music a couple of weeks ahead of the radio stations - at least you can choose your first song! :)
